I also prefer the podium of south park from a scale and walkability perspective. Raymond podium feels like a blank wall and doesnt make me want to go into the retail stores. The southpark podium does a better job with offsets and sitting areas. It feels like a place you can linger.

I dont really like the trim lighting. This development is still a spectacle destination rather than an integrated neighbourhood hub. Maybe this will change as more tenants open up shop, and the gimmicks are turned down a notch.

I really enjoyed reading this. It would be awesome if there was a collection of articles like this explaining the history and charm of Edmonton's "main streets". However, I am not volunteering myself towards that effort.

Its utterly embarrassing cause of how slow it is, and how it impacts all traffic around it - both pedestrians and vehicle traffic, in a key area of the city

Hopefully the storefront will be more inviting than what is shown in the renderings. This little strip is already a lively place for the neighbourhood.
