They move traffic back in general, which allows for more visibility of stopped cyclists...it also allows for doing a left hook turn (ie. going across the intersection doing a turn in the bike box so you can go straight across when the light changes)- which is often not possible if cars are...

I think the other thing is that as land values rise it may make sense for the film industry to relocate...when this happens the land will be freed up all at once and a plan will be put forth at that point for the freed up land...no point planning that now as it will be 3-5 decades before it...

Put the bricks back in...let it settle...come back every couple of months and fix them if they are uneven until it's settled...seems pretty straight forward... If you are paying for some guy to come and put pavement down, then rip it up and put bricks down...why not just pay for the guy to put...

They actually wouldn't add that much - power pack 2 is 3500lbs - flexity is 103000lbs - so only 3% for the batteries - or it'd be like hauling 25 people around in a trailer behind the vehicle - I don't imagine they would have trouble with this even if it was full...
