    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Transactions from Friday for me show a trip on College as taking place on Queen St. instead - quite a distance about 6km away. And then an immediate transfer at Queen's Park station which was properly recognized as a transfer.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Of course, now we'll have to see if the TTC transfer rules actually work - which some have suggested from incorrect locations may not.

    TTC surface stop spacing

Spadina spacing is fine as is - but definitely needs work on transit priority. Stops on both sides of an intersection make very little sense to me. On the subject of removing stops, they should consider the community. To me, it makes more sense for a bit closer spacing in some rare cases -...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

I've got a trip from last month from Union Station to Bramalea GO Station and then a recorded transfer to Brampton Transit at Vodden and Kennedy 10 minutes later, which is impossible. That is 5km apart!

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Yeah, I honestly have no idea how they plan to enact such a policy. Just briefly glancing at my history, it's showing some bizarre transfers that I definitely did not do that don't make much sense - they're not in Toronto, but they would definitely cause a problem under TTC's transfer rules.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

You really can't remove Wilcocks or Sussex stops because then you've got a large gap between the nearest stops (600~m between Harbord and College, 450~m between Harbord and Spadina station), primarily because of Spadina Circle and the loop at the end of the line.

    Mississauga Toronto | Mississauga Transitway | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | IBI Group

If you realign to the route to serve the airport directly via Silver Dart and Jetliner you don't need anything new at all and avoid Carlingview completely.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

In my experience, the location of tap-on is never fully accurate for moving vehicles. Which makes me doubt on how they can accurately be able to tell what a real trip according to TTC transfer rules is (as opposed to how it seems to work right now) - which doesn't even take into account how...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

That was one of the big complaints about that during focus groups (and that was summer 2014) Of course, they didn't listen to a word of it.

Yeah. I've reported it every few months and still hasn't been fixed, it's been a problem since the first one got here.

Automated stop and door chime announcements still override operator announcements.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

https://twitter.com/bradTTC/status/668955472574181376 More good news for those who have been asking: Early weeknight subway closures north of Eglinton will conclude Dec 18/19. #TTC So how long were those early closures up for?

    Roads: Ontario/GTA Highways Discussion

Because, for most cases, the number was already taken by regional roads. IE Airport Road was already Peel Regional Road 7

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

I think it's more of the fact that every other location you've mentioned already has a way to load presto, whereas the TTC stations do not have any way. Perhaps they view it as more efficient to install a limited number of these machines rather than outfit every collector booth for Presto (which...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Museum station is finally get video screens installed. Are any other stations missing them so far?

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Some agencies outside of Toronto have such a thing, exterior announcements of routes. I know for sure Brampton and Mississauga have them. ie. "Route 501 Zum Queen Eastbound to York University" I find Mississauga to be much less specific on that. ie "Route 11 Westwood to Subway"

    GTHA Transit Fare Integration

Basically, fare integration pretty much already exists outside of Toronto. Ideally, I want the exact same thing with Toronto. But, I can't see that really happening. First, TTC needs to switch to time-based transfers throughout their system. Second, it needs to remain flat fare based for the...

    Toronto Toronto | Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Is Eglinton Square too similar to Eglinton for use? Heck, O'Connor could work as its north end is only like ~150m away from the intersection. (Until we get a relief line/Don Mills/whatever line that stops at it)

    Toronto Toronto | Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

& Eglinton names make sense where there's already a station of the same name...but makes no sense for others. Allen and Eglinton need to change. I don't know why it's not Yonge-Eglinton or even Eglinton-Yonge Allen is going to be confusing for the YUS...unless they're not even touching that...
