I am not sure but from @midsomers pics, it looks like some windows are open. ALthough they dont look very big.

Here is the most recent photo of the 5th floor. As you can see the shape of the tower is being outlined. I think it will be about a floor every 10days. dont expect more than 1 crane to be working once the podium is done. Also, the Business Improvement Area Downtown Yonge had a meeting today...

Not too sure if it was north or south but different floors. this one was 30th+. I know most of the details but rather not discuss on forum.

With 8 floors to go it doesnt seem Shangri La makes that big of an impression, because it stands alone. With Trump atleast you have the other huge office towers as a reference point. :-(

Ya if you go back in forums or google "murano condos suicide" someone jumped off the 16th floor a year or 2 ago into the alley between buildings. On sunday afternoon there was another one.

    40 Bay St (Bus Terminal + ?)

I recall reading somewhere that they are considering moving it where union station is so it is one central transportation hub. Even did a survey on a rocket train from union to pearson.

Ya I always wondered how they got the cranes down, then I saw Lumiere get finished off and a smaller crane brought up. Great idea.

FYI There was another suicide jump at Murano on Sunday afternoon. Those condos are really spooked. Dead construction worker, 2 jumpers, mulitple glass issues.

hahahah ya. On like the 60 something floor. But they also have sick 2storey town homes/ lofts on 55th floor.

In this case I think that is true. The new One Bloor is a way sleeker nice design from the previous developers plans. I really like the idea of again a huge podium on a major corner. Apple may be moving in as main retailer, or so I heard or read somewhere

I think in both aspects 1Bloor is nice. Def better looking design now, then what it was before. Has a very stylish look.

Yea everyone is always so intrigued with big balconies and patio. News flash we live in Canada and you can really only enjoy them for 3.5-4 mths. Like the one unit in AURA 1300sq ft patio and a 550 sq ft unit for $1mil+. good luck reselling that

Great analysis. This is amazing. I was torn between South and North, but your argument makes decision easy. :-)

I think South East or North East would be ideal. When you get above the 30th floor you dont actually hear street traffic. I live at Bay and College and only thing you hear is the ambulance, fire or police sirens. Otherwise you dont notice any real noise. We recently had SWAT downstairs for BMO...

Too bad the hotel wasnt open in time for Toronto Film Fest. That would have been an epic opening. Get a screening in their and VIP party. Start off with a Bang

Ya i can agree to that. I have windows open 24/7/365. You hear more street noise, but nothing like semi fresh toronto air. Feel less cluster phobic.

    Toronto Toronto | Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto | 207.86m | 53s | Graywood | Kohn Pedersen Fox

I was not very impressed with the Main hall, lobby and general look of the first few floors. Just doesnt create that wow factor when you walk around.

If you had a unit 60th floor and up. Which corner would you want? South East into financial district and CN Tower/ Lake? South west for lake and saggua? North West or North East for Queens Park and Downtown?

Hands down best looking of the 4 hotel condos that just went up. Even the location, is like Park Avenue with University so big.
