Pret A Manger coming to Canada!

I did not take a photo of the "coming soon" signage but it looks like Pret is opening a standalone location right across the street from the First Canadian Place (Adelaide St side)

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Hate to use this thread for complaining about transit experiences but my god, at least 4 times this past month someone on the GO Train has wrongly hit the yellow tape and I doubt it's ever resulted in a fine for that person. How come I've never had this issue on the TTC?

    Oakville Toronto | The Bronte | ?m | 8s | Brixen | Arch. Unfolded

Taken today. I'm thinking it's safe to mark this one as complete what with a concierge on site and the lights turned on at seemingly finished units at night. Now let's hope we see some ground level retail here other than a dentist, chiropractor or hair salon on this street...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Any update on the Rogers acquisition of BAI? When can we expect Rogers service on the subway?

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

I had no idea they were showing that at Doors Open, hopefully I'll have a chance to see it this year

Dundas St Rapid Transit (Metrolinx, Mississauga, Halton Region, CoT)

I mean, I just see no other way. It's not "rapid transit" when you have to switch buses at every municipal boundary, and I don't think MiWay or the others would be interested in serving a route going from Kipling subway station to Burlington EDIT: or maybe the local transit agencies could meet...

Dundas St Rapid Transit (Metrolinx, Mississauga, Halton Region, CoT)

Hopefully GO Transit because Metrolinx already runs bus service through GO?

Dundas St Rapid Transit (Metrolinx, Mississauga, Halton Region, CoT)

I wonder how this will get implemented in Halton, if at all. The full reconstruction of Dundas in Oakville and Burlington is wrapping up and the only "bus infrastructure" thrown in there are inserts for the bus stops Also, the Palermo transit terminal is strangely not in the Town of Oakville's...

Toronto Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport | ?m | ?s | Ports Toronto | Arup

From an article from March 2022: Guess we can't expect US pre-clearance anytime soon

    Oakville Toronto | The Gates of Bronte | 41.49m | 10s | Maplelands | Arcadis

Render from the developer's website. They're also calling the development The Gates of Bronte

    Mississauga Toronto | Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Given how she was already 101 by the time the LRT line was named after her, I don't see how you think that it was only supposed to be named after her for the rest of her life...

Toronto Retail & Restaurants in the 90s

This thread will just be me dumping scans from this book I came across featuring retail exteriors from various North American cities, but I welcome others to share photos they have that fit the theme as well
