    Rob Ford's Toronto

"The police have spent a billion dollars following me and they've come up with, what, an empty bottle of vodka? It's an absolute travesty."
  2. R

    Rob Ford's Toronto

"I can't speak about a matter that's before the courts"

    Rob Ford's Toronto

What I want someone to ask at the next debate: "Police have been called to your residence over a dozen times for domestic disputes. When you allegedly beat your wife, were you in a drunken stupor or was it crack, or both?"

    Rob Ford's Toronto

I get that you're being absurd, but what's even more absurd is how easy it is for Ford to brush off even the most brazen attack. "I've had my troubles. I'm not perfect, are you perfect? I'm working out and feeling great. I'm healthy as a horse. Fit as a fiddle. And I'm watching every dime at...

It's not evidence until law enforcement has declared it to be so. Conrad Black was busted because the court had ordered that he not touch any of that property. Rob Ford is still free to burn anything that belongs to him.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Wow. How could Rob not go ballistic to that one. That would be something. Edit: if he could hold it together, though, he'd really be able to lay down a big fat "victim" card. Play up his story as one of overcoming adversity to serve the taxpayer. Gotta be careful with this stuff.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Yeah yeah, but after he's charged he's easy pickings. There's no rush to discredit him now.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

They're hoping they can mostly stay positive and let the police take care of the rest. I dare say, that may work out for them in the long run.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

So he's just kinda doing the Fords a favour by giving them a heads up? This whole thing is a little weird unless it's utterly imminent, as in TODAY

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Well, just read up, and I'm wrong. It wouldn't be obstructing if he were shredding documents or burning boxes or whatever, since they are not yet evidence, and he would have to be knowingly tampering with official evidence to be in the same boat as Black. However, he could lead police to his...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Exactly. Would get an extra charge (again, for obstructing, I suppose)

    Rob Ford's Toronto

"Kitchen table common sense" means if you can't afford to pay yer bills, you gotta cut back, so let's sell all of our utilities and gut public services!1!!!! It's like quitting your second job and selling your car so that you have more free time and more money for about 2 weeks. It's just...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

It's either part of the police plan, or MM could be charged with obstructing

    Rob Ford's Toronto

I feel that Metro Man's spotty history with predictions has to do with over-zealous extrapolation of vague information. So not to say he doesn't know some things that are going on, but the quality of much of it has probably been quite low. The boldness of tonight's MM twitter explosion suggests...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

    Or yeah, anyone else's.
  16. R

    Rob Ford's Toronto

The only thing that would set off the "heinous unmentionable" meter would be something to do with his kids.
  17. R

    Rob Ford's Toronto

-extortion (party to Lisi re: crack vid) -assault (aiding and abetting re: Bassos) -drug trafficking (party to Lisi using "Rob's kush" to retrieve lost phone) -obstructing justice (just a guess… not sure exactly how, but it seems possible. Perhaps demonstrating knowledge of some aspect of the...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

I like it. But we all know what he'd say… "I can't comment on a matter that's before the courts." Even though that makes no sense.
  19. R

    Rob Ford's Toronto

In terms of audio files… that could be literally hundreds of hours of voice recordings. The "voice memo" app stores files in a highly compressed format.
  20. R

    Rob Ford's Toronto

That's not new. That's old news. And, I think, the Ford connection to "drug trafficking" since the bloods who traded the phone talked about getting "Rob Ford's kush." ITO, folks!
