Toronto is BOOOOMING! The design is meh, but the proposal is great! The Skydome, CN Tower and an aquarium would be quite the amazing cluster of attractions. Not to mention the plethora of brand new high-rises in the neighborhood.

They needed to clad the box on top of Telus with that material!

The floor plan for the penthouse also shows a large terrace on the south side too. I'm interested to see what the south side looks like when the rest of the hoarding comes off. I also wouldn't be surprised if they used steel to finish shaping the top of Ritz.

The Tiffany green is disgusting! That's my first opinion. I'm praying that it will grow on me as they install more panels.

I made a quick sketch of what the slant should look like using Caltrane's photo: What do you guys think?

The cladding is what's going to make or break this building for me. The renderings do nothing for me. If they use top quality materials then this building might just surprise me.

They need to do something to the mechanical box on top of the building. I'd say clad it in the same black material that's on the box that runs the length of the base.

Wow I really love the roof element from the harbour front! I'm starting to agree with others who say that this is one of the best Cityplace towers.

I don't understand the guard rail either. Why didn't they just continue the bench the entire length of the deck like they did on the Spadina one? The rail was a bad choice in my opinion.

I can't believe they're already putting up the facade on this building!! I can't wait until the whole complex is complete

OMG Yay! It's about f*cking time!! This concrete bunker was an ugly b*tch for a long time. The cladding looks very nice so far :)

These wave decks really are something special for the city of Toronto. These decks are just playful pieces of what will be an amaizing waterfront experience in the future.

This is the best update of Luna and Cityplace yet! I agree that the placemaking could have been better but the scale of this development is breathtaking. Imagine when Parade is built and the other sites are potentially being prepped for even more development. TO is by far one of the most...

The glass looks great in this picture! This building is going to change color as the sky changes color throughout the day.

I'm liking this development better now that the second phase is going up along Lakeshore.
