    Transformation AGO (5s, Gehry) COMPLETE

Gorgeous! :D Thank you so much! I can't wait to check this place out in person when I come to TO for New Years!

    Transformation AGO (5s, Gehry) COMPLETE

I would love to see a picture of the Galleria lit up at night from the outside. If anybody has a shot I'd love to see it :)

Head of Slips (Waterfront Toronto, West 8/DTAH)

I find the fact that Toronto stills has industry on the waterfront endearing. Granted the building can use some sprucing up, but at least it's not a tire factory.

    Toronto ugliest highrise building

I agree with Grey. I hate the new College Park towers. They look so out of place. It's too bad there's nothing we can do about them, being new and all.

    Toronto's Second Supertall?

Here's a good question: What architect would you like to see design TO's next supertall? I personally vote for Norman Foster. He can do no wrong in my book.

    Toronto's Second Supertall?

I would love to see a supertall close to the Waterfront. A nice location would be where the LCBO is between Yonge and Jarvis on Queens Quay. I'd like to see a supertall that compliments the CN Tower as well. Maybe one with a triangular footprint and a mix of materials like concrete glass...

I'm sorry but I really really hate this building. It's such a dissapointment compared to his tower in Chicago. It looks cheap and unbalanced. What a missed opportunity. I pray that it turns out worlds better than the renderings.

Toronto CityPlace: Montage + Neo (Concord Adex, 47 + 16s, KPMB)

That last picture is amaizing! What's cool about both of them is no matter how tall you think this Cityplace is, the CN tower still dominates the city.

I need my AGO fix!!! Somebody needs to go take some pictures soon :)

    Toronto Toronto | Canoe Landing Park | ?m | ?s | Concord Adex

I look at the Island as Toronto's great park. In the summer the ferrys are packed with people going to enjoy the warm weather, like Central Park gets packed in the summer. Granted taking a ferry there isn't as easy as, let's say, walking in, but it's a nice change from the hustle and bustle of...

When should we expect an updated rendering?

    Full steam ahead matey!!

The black is also going to look very nice once Telus is complete as well. They're both going to compliment one another.

    Transformation AGO (5s, Gehry) COMPLETE

I love the blue titanium and the blue glass on the Bay Adelaide Center. They both make the cloudy days of Fall a little brighter :)

RBC Centre (LEED Gold, CadFair, 41s, KPF/B+H/&Co.) COMPLETE

^^^ Quick question: What are those planks sticking out of the side of buildings under construction? I see them on buildings UC all over these forums and I never know what they're for. U can see one clearly with a working standing on it in the pic above.

    Toronto Toronto | Pinnacle Centre Condos | 161.84m | 55s | Pinnacle | P + S / IBI

This picture makes Toronto look like it's been abandonded for a few decades (despite the new construction).

    Toronto Toronto | L-Tower | 204.82m | 58s | Cityzen | Daniel Libeskind

This tower can still be spectacular. Granted the base is the part we loved the most, but Liebeskin can still redesign the base to be nothing short of amaizing. The crude rendering that was produced a few weeks back is far from what the final version will look like.

Bay Adelaide Centre West Tower (Brookfield, 50s, WZMH)

I absolutely love the progression of the Toronto skyline! Cities go through periods where their skylines seem to stay unchanged for a chunk of time. Toronto's, as is New York right now, is really starting to redefine its skyline and it's a lot of fun to watch! Seeing the Bay Adelaide...

    Toronto Toronto | Concord Canada House | 231.97m | 74s | Concord Adex | Arcadis

I hate to sound like an echo, but a Calatrava Turning Torso-esque tower for the Signature of the Concord development would really be a crowning jewel to the whole development. I have friends who have moved into Cityplace over the past year and it is definitely much more than what I expected...

Head of Slips (Waterfront Toronto, West 8/DTAH)

I think we have to accept the fact that people are gonna etch stuff into the wood. It'll only be noticable when very close up. Just be happy that the people of Toronto have A LOT more respect that the people in New York. I can see this head of slip, and the two other's being built looking...
