Miracle on Yonge (Richmond Hill Centre, Pemberton, 2x 12s, Rafael & Bigauskas)

I just got an email from Pemberton confirming that "Miracle at Yonge" is simply a rebranding of "The Emerald at Bayview Glen", not a new phase. I guess they want to take a different approach to marketing this project. The whole "emerald" thing has been kind of overdone lately, after all...

    Financing for a Pre-Construction Condo

So, if part of the cash will be coming from a source other than a mortgage (ie. savings, family, etc.), is the purchaser required to prove to the builder that they have access to this extra cash? What sort of proof would they need?

    Financing for a Pre-Construction Condo

I have some questions about how one goes about financing the purchase of a pre-construction condo, so I was hoping the experts here could clarify things for me. Let's say a purchaser wants to buy a condo for 300K, with the builder requiring a deposit of 60K (over time). Would the builder...

Centre Park @ Thornhill City Centre (Liberty, 18 + 16s, Kirkor)

When I went to the sales office about a year ago, they had 1 bedroom (500+ sq ft) units starting at around $186,000. Seemed pretty reasonable for the area at the time (although the units in question were located right next to the elevators).

Centre Park @ Thornhill City Centre (Liberty, 18 + 16s, Kirkor)

Thanks for starting this thread, Solaris. Looks like they're making good progress on this development. I have to agree with you there. It might not be a gleaming urban monolith, but the distinctive rooftops and green-roof areas should help Centre Park stand out from the other buildings in...

    Registration Anxiety

I guess it's the "chicken & egg" scenario that has me concerned. You can't sell your condo until you own it, but you might not get to own it if the deal falls through at registration time. Would the builder give you enough notice before the condo is registered for you to seek out an alternative...

    Registration Anxiety

Hi all. I'm currently looking into buying my first place, learning as I go, but I have a few questions about purchasing a condo in the pre-construction phase. I gather that there can be a gap of several months between occupancy and when a building is registered, but you have to wait until...
