    2011 Canadian Census

That sounds realistic to me. I hope Toronto becomes the Canadian Chicago. Except without the crime. At least that way we can have impressive parks, buildings and public transportation.

    New York City...

I focus on all New York's flaws... Pockets of violent crime (The Bronx, Brooklyn, Harlem). Incredibly expensive. Most of it is rent owned, so it's difficult to purchase a place. Impossible to own a car. Canada is a better country overall. And my sister who's visited both London...

    New York City...

It's sad I just went to New York City. And I've always loved Toronto, but now I feel like New York City is so grand and amazing that Toronto simply pales in comparison. What are your thoughts on New York City? The good and the bad.

    Why the Hate for Mississauga?

Why does everyone from Toronto have nothing but bitterness towards Mississauga? In terms of sprawl, is it really so bad that it's worse than Brampton or even Vaughan? It's got a massive population and is more dense than a city like Calgary.

    2011 Canadian Census

^^ I've always wondered when Hamilton will be included into the greater Toronto area. I know Oshawa has already been considered a part of the metro area of Toronto. But I doubt the population of Toronto is anything over 5.7 million right now.

    2011 Canadian Census

To go from 5.5 million to 11 million is rather unheard of. Keep in mind that is almost the size of Los Angeles, Chicago, Paris, Moscow and London. That won't happen. My guess is in 10 years it will be 7 million.

    2011 Canadian Census

Every 5 years Canada releases a population count. Toronto is currently at a population of 2.5 million and the greater Toronto area is at 5.5 million (from the 2006 census) What do you predict the population will be now when it gets releaed? I think I read that by 2025 they predict the...

    Church-Wellesley Village

I'm sorry, but in my defense I live in Hamilton for 3/4 of the year and I have my reasons for disliking it. I don't like the people (at McMaster and) in Hamilton. It's an okay place to raise a family I guess because there are a lot of nice nieghbourhoods in the west end and on the mountain but...

Toronto Toronto | CityPlace: Canoe Landing Community Centre & Schools | 15.85m | 3s | City of Toronto | ZAS Architects

It's amazing how childish some people on here are. Instead of debating Rango's point we have people throwing insults and posting pictures of Rush Limbaugh. Some of you need to grow up.

    Toronto Toronto | One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

But I really want to know! I read as much as I could on Wikipedia and it's so dissapointing to see Toronto's never getting anything extraordinary. Or at least, we're under the delusion we are until something goes wrong and it's not as great anymore. Whether it's the Sapphire Tower, The Trump...

    Toronto Toronto | One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

Can anyone tell me what happened to the idea of the Sapphire Tower and whether it was supported by the people here or not?

    Church-Wellesley Village

Firstly, let me just say the people in Toronto are MUCH friendlier than people in Mississauga. That's something I've noticed. Secondly, it's so much easier to be gay in Toronto than in Hamilton. I went to Limeridge Mall with my boyfriend and I felt like I was being stared at the whole time...

    Most Dangerous Neighbourhood(s)?

That area seems so tame to me. My friend lives there and says it gets kinda sketchy at night. Mind you, this is around Martingrove and Steeles. Not sure if that falls within the boundaries.

    Church-Wellesley Village

I was moreso focused on the fact people on here admit sex is a large part of the gay community. I knew I would get responses like this and what I said would be spun around to make me seem ashamed. But I'm not. I just don't think people should be proud that when the idea of a gay person comes...

    Church-Wellesley Village

I have to say as a fellow homo I am dissapointed that many people on this board place such an emphasis on sex and nudity in characterizing the gay community. And I only say this because many people my age struggle accepting their gay because of the vicious stereotypes associated with...
