No problem....I like to get in a bike ride every weekend when the weather is nice in the fall. I choose my route by looking on this site and finding projects that haven't been updated in over two weeks. This last weekend was over a two hour ride. Had to get that Marda Loop stuff in.

You have to start somewhere. I prefer the glass half full outlook. Any ideas that cost money in Calgary around improving biking are immediately shot down or fought with resistance, so inexpensive ideas are more likely to be entertained.

I'm definitely not talking about freeways or major roads. They don't have sidewalks anyway. Nor would I ever want to bike on Deerfoot. The lower speed roads that you refer to could be narrower. This would provide the space to have on sidewalk bike lanes as I mentioned in my post. Especially in...
