Pfft... The walk is 7 minutes from Sussex to the Line 1 Spadina platform, and I'm a really fast walker. Eliminating the sussex stop won't improve travel times. Just keep it.

Why should Sussez be removed? 510 streetcars stop there only if there is a request, and it's at least a 7 minute walk to Spadina station.

The equipment will be fine. Toronto's LFRV's are not the first to operate in winter conditions.

Both lanes will be blocked with left-turning cars and when a bus stops to load/unload passengers. 1, maybe 2 cars are able to turn left on a green cycle. Buses won't improve anything. When I tell my streetcar hating friends this, they just double down and proclaim their hatred for streetcars.

Yeah.... I can't justify paying $20. I'd have to travel to Union, wait for the train, and spend 20 minutes. Traveling. The travel won't be much shorter than taking the TTC 192.

Less elevators and escalators to install and maintain. That alone is a benefit to island platforms.

York Mills and College Stations are being cited as examples why island platforms are not accessible. Ok, then... Not one complaint about Sheppard Stations, which were probably built to AODA standards.
