There is some construction going on at the corner of Islington and Bloor in Bloor Islington Place (formerly The Shipp Centre, Clarica Centre and Sun Life Financial Centre). A large addition is being built on the south east corner of the mall and will house a Sobey's. Many decor and store...

That used to be my favourite shopping spot as a teen...it was called Three Below. I think the uppermost floor was the 'Eaton's Warehouse' floor, of discounted goods.

Ok...I just think from certain angles it makes the tower look top-heavy.

I don't understand that bump-out on the 30th floor on the one side. I get that it is because of the building beside it, but why just do that on one side? I think it ruins the symmetry.

Wasn't there a proposal about 10 years ago for condos on this site? I can't recall the name, but it never got off the ground.
