How and why would Alberta do so? They’ve already spent a billion dollars getting everything ready, trains are selected and track will start being laid later this year. Can’t really kill things at this point without costing a fortune in broken contracts.

I’ve always felt that this kind of building will be great to be built all along Elvow drive instead of SFH.

There are plans to redevelop that into Mixed Used, but I have not heard any movement since 2015 or so on that.

Ive always thought that UofC needs a proper downtown campus, and imagine if they turned the empty Husky towers into University Dorms. It would make downtown far more vibrant that’s for sure.
