It's been a long time since I was in school for journalism, but I do remember (somewhat) that it is against Canadian law for a journalist to directly connect a law broken with the name of the person. Next time you read about a murder look at how they phrase everything. They will say the...

As long as this is the place card and they're still tinkering with the design, I'm quite happy with the height reduction. I agree with Cd Concept, plus we have a plethora of soon to be facad-ed 8-15 storie building on and around Bay Street to fill up the density downtown.

I'm hoping it will be an active water tower with some water features like they did with a few of their more recent flats. Looking at what Carrowinds is doing with a fairly large barn and a massive stone fireplace, I can't wait to see the other additions here.

    New rides at Wonderland

The land Orbiter was on is apparently being turned into a pathway that connects Behemoth/Backlot up to Yukon Stryker/Minebuster, officially making no dead end pathways in the park officially. This might further provide some extra space if they were to RMC Minebuster down the road to redo their...

I think it would be a cooler affect if on the East Side you had a sign built into the curve, so if you looked down from a plane you could see it all lit up, maybe that would be the lighting feature as well.

    New rides at Wonderland

The Director of Social Media, Grace Peacock, confirmed that Orbiter, a 37 year old HUSS Skylab (Enterprise), is not coming back for the 2019 season. It was the only permanent version left in North America. No replacement has been mentioned, though if I were to RMC Minebuster in the next few...

If the pub had a sign right by the sidewalk it would make a huge difference. Same with if they had a patio extending that far across as well. I have walked down that street plenty of times after work for 2 years and if I didn't know because of this forum that there was a pub there, I wouldn't...

The south portion of the Portlands is a beach/park and I believe it wouldn't be as close to the water as OP. As well OP is closer to the big flashy lights and general skyline of Toronto whereas Portland's (to my recollection) is further adrift and the towers that will align it to downtown are...

To be fair, it does make a better location for an impressive ferris wheel than the Portland's would have...

I hope they don't touch Trillium Park, I'm growing quite fond of it. That being said I wasn't too crazy over the proposed second wave of development. I remember years ago it was brought up for a massive indoor water attraction and hotel, which I fond suitable for part of the land. Add a casino...

While I agree that we can focus on the parking lot as I have said before, I find that we spend too much money on maitenance and upkeep for older rides that serve no purpose. On top of that amusement parks tend to not have two of the same coaster, so by those standards we wouldn't receive a flier...

    Vaughan Toronto | Yukon Striker at Canada's Wonderland | 67.97m | ?s | Cedar Fair

Cedar Fair in recent years have been taking out their go karts, so it is a possibility. Plus they added in sling shot a couple year back for their pay per attraction roster. One thing though is that they've been spending a lot more time repairing and retracking Wilde Beast than Minebuster in...

Looks like they took out a fair amount of trees for this coaster. I hope they plant new ones around that space to make it more forest again. Preferably coniferous trees that you don't have to worry about no leaves during certain portions of the year.

I've been hearing about one company in particular but can't say anything on the subject. I was curious if this was the building they're looking at.

This is a much better addition than the original choice, a Burger Priest.

I can see them going a couple different ways. One would be to demo Flight Deck and Time Warp which would free up space plus go into/around the amphitheatre over there. You could put in a decent invert or Flier or potentially a T-Rex. Another route would be to RMC Minebuester which would be...

It will be interesting to see what those vehicles and trailer are doing by Minebuster and Brendan does mention the possibility of a waterfall in the area as well. Maybe 2 coasters in 2-3 years? That hill beside the wave pool was made for some reason...

Checked it out yesterday after work around 5pm. It was 3/4 full and fairly bright for being nowhere near natural light. The DJ was an interesting touch. Loved all of the moving screens for the Food vendors and the washrooms were quite nice. I just imagined it to be a larger space than what it...
