I believe the arrangement is similar to how Orion Bus operated. Manufacturing begins in Canada and is completed in the US and then shipped back to Canada. I haven’t heard where they’re going specifically, but other garages like Malvern have started the very early process of adding charging...

First new electric bus being finished

Venture trainset at Rouge Hill GO Station last week. It's a bit funny, I let two LRC trains pass without photographing them while waiting for this one. Given their eventual retirement, I probably should have been more motivated to catch them. Oh well.

Yes that is correct. Should also add: the trade with Barrie Transit for 12m buses in exchange for 7m cutaway buses was called off.

Some good fleet news: 15 diesel buses should start coming in this month and 6 battery-electric buses should start coming in June. Hopefully they new buses allow for more service on some routes.

So it appears they may be finally getting their buses. There’s a Vicinty Lightning with the airport lettering at this year’s OTE trade show.

Riding a leased bus right now. Turns out DRT went ahead and installed the audio and visual passenger announcements.

Cut through the fence outside the station, which apparently, is a known problem.

I wonder if this is mostly due to college and university routes. If it is, I don’t really feel that impressed since it doesn’t necessarily mean people are choosing to use DRT.

Sinkhole just apparently opened up at Danforth GO Station. Not gonna be as smooth one if you’re coming from the East.
