I went ahead and voted for Rob Ford today

Well, it's the suburban people that he's gotten ignited over high taxes, and they say they'd vote for him on a platform that for the most part ignores the downtown. I'm not saying it makes sense- that's why I don't want him :O

I went ahead and voted for Rob Ford today

I remember reading it in an article, I'll try to dig it up. Because it costs more to get things in the city done. It's not a fair wage policy, it's an exuberant wage policy. It's the kind of mindset that pays a TTC ticket collector $70 000 a year to sit in a booth, and it might be great for...

I went ahead and voted for Rob Ford today

Over his term we've seen drastic salary increases, and the settlement with the garbage strike was a joke- Miller got hardly close to what he wanted. And mind you, Ford wants to scrap the fair wage policy. A guy who lives in the suburbs and would rather tax cuts than a nice downtown would want...

I went ahead and voted for Rob Ford today

Ford would be good because he wouldn't let the unions walk all over him (unlike Miller)....aside from that, his platform is garbage. He'd let the downtown rot.

Lol! -There are only 70 trains, not 78 -The total cost was around 3 times that -The jobs were in Thunder Bay, not Toronto Those are the mistakes I caught..

Joe Pantalone's plan to empower community councils

I don't like him. The whole "non-conformist" thing he pulled as mayor doesn't seem like a good leadership trait.

70 seems like a lotta trains, even with the extension :O Nonetheless, thanks :P

    Toronto | 1233 Queen East | ?m | 8s

Weird...I thought I remembered reading somewhere that they ordered fewer trains than the number that are currently in service on the line.

    Toronto | 1233 Queen East | ?m | 8s

Dunno if this has been addressed, but will these trains replace all of the YUS ones?

Uptown Residences: How Close Does It Resemble The Model?

I dunno about the base...seems kind of plain. Will this building turn a nasty shade of brown overtime like concrete buildings or is it a different material?

Post your ideas for a better Toronto.

Hope I'm not repeating anything, I didn't read every post in detail: 1. Finish the Sheppard Line and build more subways lines 2. Bury hydro wires in suburban areas 3. Massive renovations to "ugly" stations. Make them themed to their surroundings 4. New landmark of sorts...we need to save...
