Well, it's the suburban people that he's gotten ignited over high taxes, and they say they'd vote for him on a platform that for the most part ignores the downtown. I'm not saying it makes sense- that's why I don't want him :O

Over his term we've seen drastic salary increases, and the settlement with the garbage strike was a joke- Miller got hardly close to what he wanted. And mind you, Ford wants to scrap the fair wage policy. A guy who lives in the suburbs and would rather tax cuts than a nice downtown would want...

Ford would be good because he wouldn't let the unions walk all over him (unlike Miller)....aside from that, his platform is garbage. He'd let the downtown rot.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the continuous cars is a first in the North America.

Weird...I thought I remembered reading somewhere that they ordered fewer trains than the number that are currently in service on the line.

That building seriously needs a paint job.

I dunno about the base...seems kind of plain. Will this building turn a nasty shade of brown overtime like concrete buildings or is it a different material?

Hope I'm not repeating anything, I didn't read every post in detail: 1. Finish the Sheppard Line and build more subways lines 2. Bury hydro wires in suburban areas 3. Massive renovations to "ugly" stations. Make them themed to their surroundings 4. New landmark of sorts...we need to save...

I kinda like the first design the best.
