    Edmonton | Hat @ 122 | 35.96m | 12s | Cidex Group | NORR

The entire western side of the block was vacant land 15 years ago. This emphasizes the need to give priority to developing all the vacant land within the city before expanding outwards.

Edmonton City Centre Mall (Renovations) | ?m | 2s | LaSalle Investment Management

Vancouver doesn't need head offices, they have a ton of wealthy people living there that outweigh the benefits that head offices bring.

    Car-Free Streets

I see the cargo bays which explain the lack of sidewalks.

    Car-Free Streets

Interesting how the sidewalk is in the middle of the street instead of on the sides. This is the first time I have seen this, I wonder why they had that set-up? This goes to show that the street wasn't very pedestrian friendly a hundred years ago.

    Car-Free Streets

Given that the bike lane had absolutely no bicycle traffic and the driver might have been from out of town, or new to driving. It is not unreasonable to assume that the driver thought the bike lane was meant for cars. I agree that they need to install a bollard in the middle of the bike lane to...

    Edmonton and the Hydrogen Economy

I am not an expert in gas transmission but would it be possible to replace the gas in all our gas lines with Hydrogen?

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Edmonton

Captain Obvious (me) came up with the idea and Captain Obvious has no relations with 'Lincoln Ho'. It looks like the idea is more obvious than Captain Obvious thought! 😲

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Edmonton

You want to starve a lane of vehicle traffic so a bus can move fast. I am wondering what problem will that ever solve. It looks more like a ruse to remove vehicles from Whyte Ave. and make it your 'pedestrian only' paradise.

    Edmonton | Old Remand Centre Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Boyle Street | Manasc Isaac

What state is the elevator core in? Perhaps only a partial demolition is needed.

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Edmonton

I would rather have the Edmonton radial railway operate a tram down Whyte Ave. instead of BRT.

I can't wait to see this building rise!

    Car-Free Streets

They did a nice job surfacing the street and you want to tear it up and redo it. You should have demanded it be done your way before it was built. Lesson learned for next time. Loosing the battle doesn't mean you lost the war. It would be wise to leave the road the way it was intended to see how...

    Car-Free Streets

^ That is exactly what it already is, nice attempt at moving the goal post.

    Alberta Politics

It would be amazing entertainment! Our own 'Bloc-Albartas' in the Legislature.

    New Zoning Bylaw

I can't believe how stupid some people are.

    Alberta Politics

Perhaps it's time we look into creating a political party with the platform of splitting Alberta into two provinces. Such a party would get my vote.

    Edmonton Skyline

This is probably the result of old skyline images outnumbering new skyline images that have Stantec Tower. I believe this is also the result of AI mixing up Edmonton and Calgary skylines for some reason.

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

Nashville needs to advertise themselves to Edmonton, it is a good alternative party destination compared to Las Vegas and Orlando. Few people know about it.

    Edmonton | The Flats - Rossdale | 35.05m | 10s | Parkwood | Dub Architects

The proposal for the white building (not canada place) in the pic above is over a decade old. I consider it to be a stale proposal.
