As @TheHonestMaple noted in another thread, it could just mean that the third tower is on hold until they sell more units as interest rates come down.

I haven't but I can take a look maybe sometime this week. On an unrelated note, ran into some Lamb staff and they said Lamb plans to buy up a bunch more property in Hamilton in the coming years.

With 64 Main and 78 Hughson, I'm hopeful development is starting back up in preparation for lower interest rates. It's a bit unfortunate that it appears the Design District will only be 2 towers, and therefore significantly fewer people, but midrise development like these will make up for it...

    Hamilton Toronto | Jamesville Lofts | ?m | 6s | Marbelle | Lintack Architects

I haven't seen any progress in the last 12 months tbh. Last I heard from the Ward 2 councillor the project is on hold.

That might explain the $178m number. The building permit is for $255m, $178 is around 2/3 that number.

Looking like they're getting ready to start brickwork on the west side and north:

Seems they're sticking with the 30 storey proposal and not the 41 storey FC that was brought forward?

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Nobody is forcing you to engage in a cycling forum with anti-cycling rhetoric and then continue after people call it out and get angry with you. So my only logical conclusion is that you're enjoying it. The least you can do is respond with substantive attempts to defend your indefensible position.

    Hamilton: General Service Discussion

I made it as well and was lucky to get a spot of someone who didn't show. Also didn't get too many photos for the same reason. Kind of sucks how strict they were. Got a couple though:

I mean I figured as much, but it's not even close 😂

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

TTC is unreliable because of ass backward policy that under funds transit, and over funds roads. It's like trying to keep the Titanic above water with a sand bucket and instead of purchasing a water pump that can pump out the water at the same rate it's coming in, buying a few more sand buckets...

    Hamilton Toronto | McMaster Graduate Student Residence | 97.9m | 30s | Knightstone | Diamond Schmitt

Despite this building not being filled, I've noticed a substantial increase in foot traffic in the area at this section. To me, it becomes more ridiculous every day that Bay St doesn't have an LRT stop. With this building, a future planned building behind it, and across the street, the under...
