Soooo, they are going to paint that concrete monolith? Please tell me they are going to skin it in something pretty.

Wonder if that is a more expeditious way to get through all the red tape.

And so what can be built here? I am totally lost or they fail to say.

    Hamilton Toronto | 213 King Street West | 94.3m | 30s | Vrancor Development | ZO1

Shoulda had a mural waiting to be discovered in 2224. Largest untagged concrete block in Ontario.

    Hamilton Toronto | Gore Park Condos | 106.9m | 32s | HBSC | KNYMH

Would be nice to see a real developer take hold of this site and do something really special or the Gore

    Hamilton Toronto | 96 Main Street East | 101.6m | 30s | Tamwood

I think it would be super cool if they could incorporate it somehow, maybe up and over to that parking lot on the south side. One can dream.

Thanks, Interesting that the City would be on the hook to do that. One would think it would be all on the developer.

Wonder what the plan is for the gravel section?
  12. KingJames

    Hamilton Toronto | 96 Main Street East | 101.6m | 30s | Tamwood

Correct, just inches away from it, and I assume some level of digging or piling will shake the poor old stable

That's not gonna hide Landmark! Hope they can do this without destroying 33 Bowen

Nice infill, wonder if A-Game can actually build it, or is it a new owner?

    Hamilton Toronto | 75 James Condos | 108m | 34s | LIUNA | Graziani + Corazza

Wow that lower side looks like an ode to the next door YMCA extension from the 80"s

    Hamilton Toronto | 354 King Street West | 82.71m | 25s | Vrancor Development | srm Architects

Man that is a whole lotta concrete, hope it's getting skinned in something pretty!

Very happy with the near finished exterior product (less the slat railings, just think those are a tad ugly).

    Hamilton Toronto | Centurion | ?m | 9s | Effort Group | DPAI

Found a most flattering angle to take a picture, ain't she pretty?

The two properties adjacent to each other for the mid block on James S? Between CIBC (king) and the Piggott Sunlife (main) buildings.

Would love to know who owns the old Robinson's and Royal Bank lots. How many decades have those key sites sat either fully unused or as a surface parking lot. If any site could be allowed to exceed the height limit, that would get my vote.
