the height is very nice as well ! something different from the sea of roughly 130 m to 150 m this city has an abundance of.

it indeed is another good enough for Edmonton build ! the building designers here are void of any fresh ideas it would seem. very similar to the high rise at Capilano ! :eek:

i guess i was reacting to how quickly things get built here. maybe 10 years was a bit optimistic?

^our downtown badly needs these builds to help fill it out. hopefully we'll see a lot of these go up in the next 10 years.

ya as much as i'd like to see them all built soon and that's the cool part, i have to agree with the more bland, "good enough for Edmonton" look to them.

^ya agreed! our buildings are starting to suffer from sameness. it's what happens when you use the same guys over and over to design these buildings i suppose? :rolleyes:

this is SO true ! a lot of "sameness" in our local architecture in my opinion ! i'd like to see, especially in our high rise designs, a little better look to some of these. you get sameness when you constantly use the same people to design these towers.

so it was gonna be this but it isn't anymore? i haven't been paying enough attention to this since the construction stopped.

i know we need more rental units in this city but it's a shame they aren't for sale!
