Indeed, most shops have already closed, are in the process of relocating (some of them in the neighbourhood) or closing. One Rexall employee told me they were staying open until they relocate into the base of a new condo:

Photo taken last week - Not sure what is going on with the ceiling. Also, over the past few weeks approximately half of the smaller, independent shops have either put up a "Closing Sale" sign or have announced they will be relocating by this September. A couple have already closed.

Interior gutting of the Mono Lino building has started last week, from what I could see through the open windows (cables hanging from the ceiling, mostly, and a yellow warning sign on the front door).

Don't know how long they've been here for, but this morning I spotted 2 GFL Environmental pick up trucks and 1 excavator on site.

The former auto dealership was 95% demolished as of 8.30am this morning. I couldn't take a picture because I was on the bus, but crews were busy taking down the remainder of the building.
