    Miscellaneous

I don't think I've seen anything posted of this project at the corner of 98 St. and 108 Ave. in Chinatown: Also a picture of the recladding of 10645 102 St NW, not sure I like the corrugated metal:

City's a bit more on the ball than that it seems for this one:

    Edmonton | The Mercury Block | 21.7m | 6s

Oh nothing too interesting. Some photos from the groundbreaking event in December, that's all. Wonder why they deleted it.

    Edmonton | Substation #600 | ?m | 3s | Beljan Development | Hodgson Schilf Evans

Last I was there, they encouraged us to order food for delivery to there. Not sure if their policy has changed but I believe they allow any sort of outside food.

    Arc Smart Fare System

Took the train yesterday and completely forgot to tap off at Clareview and still haven't been charged which is a bit surprising, would have thought they'd just assume my journey and charge me overnight. Curious how long it takes for the card to be charged when you forget to tap. Also looking at...

    Arc Smart Fare System

I found where you'd add a card. I tried adding two different cards but got the same "failed card verification" error for both. Which is weird considering one of the cards I tried adding to my account was the Amex one I used to reload my ARC card. 🤷 Would also be nice if they added a checkbox to...

    Arc Smart Fare System

My ARC pilot card came in the mail. The sign-up process went mostly alright. FYI for those who get there's the card number that's asked for in the sign-up form is the part of the number labeled as "ACCOUNT NUMBER" on the back of the card. Also the activation email was automatically sorted into...

    Downtown Crime

I'd rather see EPS fully and properly staffed while also investing in needed social services. I really hate how this has been framed as either/or.

    Capital Line LRT

Couldn't they keep the roadway underpass and just add at-grade crossing(s) for pedestrians and cyclists? Best of both worlds?

ETS Bus and General Transit Improvements

I think you've misjudged me if you think I'm a fiscal conservative in regards to city infrastructure just because I also like the city having a well staffed police department. (I assume that's why you think I'm conservative overall?). The city should be investing much more into transit and...

ETS Bus and General Transit Improvements

Cash fare for Edmonton transit set to spike to $4 in February https://edmontonjournal.com/news/local-news/edmonton-transit-fares-increase-february-2022 What a way for this new city council to show off their fauxgressive tendencies right off the bat like this. Highest fares in Canada for...

    William Hawrelak Park Rehabilitation

Heritage is way, waaaaay too big for Churchill Square. I suspect they'll end up just doing it out of Rundle. Would be cool to see Downtown do something radical though and close Jasper for several blocks downtown to host Heritage Fest or something like that.
