Last night, the upper half of the north-facing side of the tower was lit up in red! All of the fins really are LEDs! It looks crazy!

Is the south-facing concrete wall just going to stay blank like it is?

It's insane to me how cheap this was to build. It cost half as much as the Bow in Calgary and around the same as Stantec Tower in Edmonton. Nuts.

Edmonton is really an exciting place to live right now. So stoked to watch this tower go up, it's going to radically change the feel of our downtown core and put Edmonton back on the map.

I'm intrigued by the fact that they stress "one of the tallest" and "60+ stories." Stantec's website even quotes the original proposed height - though it also has an old render. I definitely hope they still build the full 250 metres!
