They need to come *down* a tick but the frames immediately underneath them seem to be fitting properly. That's why I don't think it's an installation issue but an issue with the frames themselves, that they're slightly off in size, that they were manufactured incorrectly. I guess time will tell...

No resemblance to the renderings. Zero. Is that even legal? The changes aren't minor. They're total.

Passed by today in person. Yeah, not good.

From a Toronto fan in LA responding to a pic of 160 Front on Skyscraperpage.com: I'm not the only one! LOL

There's definitely something wrong in the circled area. My OCD is setting off alarm bells over 3 to 5 errant panels affecting the rounded corner of the inlet. I'd say the measurements are off, not the installation. I think these panels will have to be removed and replaced. Sh*t happens. Pic by...

Something's amiss here. One of the panels is off. The curve of the maw / inlet isn't smooth. The surrounding panels seem to fit properly though. Pic by @Undead Pic by @Johnny Au

The Well is far below what we're getting here. What this development's got, among other things, is extraordinary materially and attention to detail. What The Well's got is a nice atrium and that it's bigly. The vastly-scaled "mid-rises" on Wellington, with their clunky window-wall, frankly are...

So, teeny-tiny units don't even have balconies anymore? Nowhere to step outside to find relief from living in a glorified walk-in closet?

I feel like this area needs some sort of modern cornice. Nothing fussy, just a linear projection to break it up visually. It's too thick, IMO. The proportions are off.

I'm digging the "invisible" spandrel panels. Altogether, this building looks good. a--A delivers.

It looks like Theatre Park's having some construction work done on its balconies. I wonder what's going on. The building's still pretty new.

Canada Life's new logo is ridiculous. It looks like a brand of crackers you'd find at Loblaws. It really undermines the Beaux-Arts elegance of their building.

Any chance of this coming to the Design Review Panel? I'd like to see this thoroughly pulled apart, analyzed, objected to / defended by a group of professionals in a transparent fashion.

I like the new skylight too. I think it looks better now. I think the upgrade here is respectful.

I see quite a bit of oil-canning with the black cladding.

^^^ The bold, cobalt blue of that tarp would've been a better blue for the building than the washed-out blue they're using.
