The white soffit of the overhang around the atrium is great - reflecting and diffusing the light from the latter.

Agree completely, and would add the warmth in the colour scheme and lighting in the lobby adds positively to this effect such that the reflected light conveys a certain warmth, one that might not be expected from an institutional space.

I felt the law books art sculpture and message was appropriate, so I included it here, although it is not on site. It is by the existing law courts to the south. I kind of used those photos as bookends, pun intended.

Is that fence part of the books installation? I mean, one never knows in this city the fine line between temporary and permanent. Maybe artists/designers/architects should just start incorporating fences, jersey barriers and whatnot into their plans.

That’s probably more my bad photography skills. It actually looks quite appropriate in person, at least to me. But then maybe I also have weird art taste.
