can anyone help direct me to a current site plan / development application docs for this development?

    Toronto Toronto | Riverside Square | 64.6m | 20s | Streetcar | RAW Design

Riverside neighbourhood starting to feel a lot more urban. The concrete-paved shared lane in between the blocks feels awful though; gently tumbled pavers would have gone a long way, both in traffic mitigation and character.

    Toronto Toronto | Time and Space Condos | 101.8m | 29s | Pemberton | Wallman Architects

This thing is an absolute dumpster fire. it's such a mess of an exorbitantly out-of-scale building mass clad in basically every grey colour available in cheap window wall and spandrel paneling. Why anyone, beyond the developers, thought this was a fine idea is beyond me. the shear mass of the...

This project is really making a presence next to the neighbouring park. A really lovely playfulness between the sloping path of the park and the tiered grid of the building.

some restaurants, even fast-casual ones, would help extend the restaurant culture around front and jarvis a bit further east. might be nice..

Ahhhh so that’s why they demo’ed the building, to have a staging area for film production!

    Toronto Toronto | T3 Bayside | 42m | 10s | Hines | 3XN

Agreed. This building is going to have more of a 'it's whats on the inside that counts' value. What will look like a pretty conventional office park building upon first glance will be rich in detail, materials, and structural integrity. IMO the interior experience is going to far outweigh the...

    Toronto Toronto | West Don Lands: Block 13 | 139.31m | 43s | Dream | Henriquez Partners

though i do agree in some form, the rhythm of cool little folded canopies does help to articulate the glass wall here. Also the fact that the retail is shallow may kind of help it. If they broke it down into three or four spaces, it may introduce some smaller scale shops instead of one large...

    Toronto Toronto | 28 River Street | 65.76m | 18s | Liberty Development | BDP Quadrangle

yea thats a pretty bad take. "build it fast because there's a housing crisis" doesn't fully overrule the need to carefully craft and thoughtfully consider a city's built realm

    Toronto Toronto | Ontario Line: Corktown Station | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | HDR

Yea I follow that thread. Pretty certain my comment applies to both sites. The fact that we have two separate threads for them (which yea, I understand why there are two) is sort of reflective of the general thinking behind them as disparate when it should be holistic

    Toronto Toronto | Ontario Line: Corktown Station | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | HDR

with the scale of these two sites together becoming more and more apparent with the demo, it's a real shame that their isn't a grand vision for city building here. considering the work SLNA put in over years of community consults for first parliament, and then the occupation of this block as a...
