Could not get closer to the window in the crowd. Oct 24:

    Toronto Toronto | Beltline Yards | 190.15m | 55s | Hullmark | Allies and Morrison

This area has so much potential. With apologies for the delay, here are some "before" pics taken when I was walking this portion of the Beltline with my canine on Oct 5:

No one has commented yet on the theatre, but I think that will be quite a nice amenity to be provided at this location. It will be of particular benefit to the community, but accessible city-wide given the location adjacent to a subway stop. I am curious, though, whether anyone has information...
  7. A Torontonian Now

    Toronto Toronto | The Whitfield | 130m | 39s | Menkes | Giannone Petricone

So red. And I mean that as a compliment.
  8. A Torontonian Now

Toronto Nathan Phillips Square + Spirit Garden | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto

Can't wait to check out the garden myself, but one other thought I have from these pictures is how nicely it interfaces with Osgoode Hall. This was always the "afterthought" facade of the building, but even so, it deserved better than the mess of concrete, dead plants and fences that was there...
  9. A Torontonian Now

    Toronto Toronto | 155 Consumers Road | ?m | 50s | Spotlight Development

I recently worked* in this area for two years, and it has a lot of potential. If enough of the old stock office buildings are retained, whether as office or as residential conversions, and the parking lots and low rise buildings infilled, it will have a nice diversity of architectural eras and...
  10. A Torontonian Now

    Toronto Toronto | Galleria III | 112.4m | 31s | Almadev | Hariri Pontarini

I agree, although I might add Dupont Station (i.e. Dupont at Spadina). Despite being close to Summerhill, it would even out the transfer load and provide connectivity to the northern part of the west leg of Line 1.
  11. A Torontonian Now

    Toronto Toronto | The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

I've been too busy for the last month or so to keep up with UT as much as I like. Coming back to this thread after a break, it strikes me that we're now very close to The One surpassing 1BE in height. At the rate it's been going, I'd expect to hit that milestone by November.
  12. A Torontonian Now

    Toronto Toronto | YZD | ?m | ?s | Northcrest Developments | KPMB

To stay on the right side of history, it might be time for me to change my handle to "A Rogers Torontonian Now"
