    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

Australia is limiting foreign student enrollment to 270,000 students in 2025. Coupled with highly restrictive immigration they are working to bring cost of living and a housing crisis under control. Makes you wonder what more can be done here...

I don't think Ana Bailao will do very well. She's got an inflated sense of name recognition which is what cost her during her mayoral run

    Toronto Eaton Centre

I went shopping in there yesterday. It's a smaller store without a housewares or kids section. Overall it works better and is more to the point. I think it will do very well.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

I had this happen a few times. I tapped to go through just as it was closing and got blocked. It didn't react quickly and I walked into the door.

I believe this focused towards charities and other such initiatives which can use the buses. Some in the past were turned into homeless assistance vehicles if I'm not mistaken.

Downtown Grocery Store List (current + proposed)

That's good to hear. Blogto was mentioning it was 100% No Name products. Not that BlogTO is credible. https://www.blogto.com/eat_drink/2024/08/value-based-grocery-store-loblaws-ontario/

Downtown Grocery Store List (current + proposed)

Another thing which may kill them is only selling No Name products. I get that SOME no name products are ok but the vast majority of them are not something I would touch with a 80 foot pole. Me personally, I would want a variety of brands not just No Name. If that was all they stocked, I would...

As someone who previously worked at Dundas and Jarvis near The Works (TPH safe injection site on Victoria) and now at Greenwood and Danforth (near several withdrawal clinics and injection sites) I can see the benefits. When I worked at 251 Jarvis years ago, we had addicts shooting up in our...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

When it comes to service adjustments the TTC tends to create new branches within existing service levels and call them new routes. The TTC doesn't actually add new routes or better service they just shift things around to look good. The TTC Board doesn't care about the average rider, they just...

Same here. I find it easier, cleaner and overall better than a cab.

    Mayor Olivia Chow's Toronto

It would be helpful if there was legislation to bring things in line with how Condos are run. With Condominiums, Condo Corporations are able to complete required repairs that owners themselves fail to make within a reasonable time. Those repairs are then charged back to Owners. Usually the...

There is a convenience store in the York Concourse and in the walkway between concourses. That said, they are more of a coke and chips sort of place not Milk.

To a certain point yes but after many notifications about posts relating to various sources of power generation it is become a bit tiresome.

    Toronto Toronto | Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

The Condo I currently manage is one of the ones located in that image. We were approached by the City of Toronto recently (as were other neighboring buildings) to do a building survey. They wanted to ensure any work being done would not damage the parking garages or structure of other...
