Ill be honest, I like the design of the podium space and the surrounding parks. Having a grand entryway to an interchange stop is something lacking in the city in most places. However, I do agree with most people here that the tower designs are rather lackluster compared to the podium.

Do we know when the next council meeting is to discuss the request for height increases for this project and the One?

Will those basins be public access once construction is done?

I wonder what the temperature change will be like in the winter under the canopy. Like, obviously it's open on both ends so wind can get through, and there are gaps along the side, but just based on how man people there will probably be there and all the stores, will it actually make it any warmer?

I know these buildings arent even done yet, but what are the chances the rail park gets "filled out"? Does CIBC own all the air rights between their buildings and just chose to leave some empty?

Netflix just dropped a new mini-series about the corruption within FIFA called "FIFA Uncovered" if anyone is interested on this topic. I just started watching it, but so far so good.

The redesign has already been approved a long time ago. Whats under construction right now is the new design, I believe the height increase would just be adding some extra floors in the middle.

Do we know what the timeline for approval is for this and the One? Could they theoretically be approved at the same meeting? (That would be some interesting drama)

Speaking of scheduling, do we know if the crosstown will run 24hrs like the streetcars downtown? Or will it be like the subways where it is mostly 5am-1am with night buses during the off hours?

I managed to get another picture of these screens. It looks like they are showing two camera footage from 2 different spots above the tracks. The screen looks to be about where the driver could see them while stopped, and they are only on one side, the other screen is at the opposite side of the...

Not a great photo, but they are definatly installing double sided vertical screens in the middle of the stations between the rails. As of right now I think it's just a holding screen, so I'm not sure what it is going to be
