Bunch of shots from today (October 18th) including a closeup of that concrete that was being discussed

It's really hard to convey the scale of the scaffolding with just pictures, but it's massive.

Not sure how important this is our relevant, but here is a construction update. For context, this is on the west side of the square where the native works are going

I mean it looks like if you were to measure it from its lowest point on the sidewalk to the highest point, both of those points are on the south west corner..... So wouldn't that make it over 300m?

We're coming up to the wiggly part now!

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

We even already have those at some subway stations. Kennedy and Victoria Park come to mind.

What is the plan with the lakeshore bridges? I see they tore the south one out already, are they planning on rebuilding them? Adding bike lanes? Widening? Whats the plan?

I absolutely love this project and I cant wait for it to be complete. All the photos look absolutely amazing and the bridges are stunning.

Looks amazing! Somewhat ironic that the only person you see in the video is another cyclist not even using the brand new bike lane

Amazing! And they even put the bike lane on the more scenic side, love it.

Havent had the chance to go down and experience it (yet) but from the pictures it looks like there is 2 lanes of car traffic and a bi-directional bike lane, is that correct?

So since the renderings seem to be old, did they just totally remove the maple leaf lighting? Also, if they plan to do maple leaves with lights, wont that light up people's apartments and be super annoying for the residents?

I love the latticed roof on this project, but I can almost guarantee someone is going to try and climb it at some point

As someone who has never been to Europe, what is the difference between a "European style" food hall and a regular North American food court?

Any word on when the height increase proposal is going to be addressed by council?

Toronto gets its own Michelin Guide

Is that stated anywhere? Like I noticed that some other cities havent updated their guides for a few years, so I was just wondering on the frequency.

Toronto gets its own Michelin Guide

Im really happy that we finally got a Michelin Guide here in Toronto. Is this going to be a yearly thing? Or every few years? A one time thing? Do we know?

Also, logistical question, how would they get the second bridge over/under the first? (given that it would be on the east side)

Sorry, few questions here: 1. With the yellow bridge opening, will old cherry still have vehicle traffic on it for the time being? 2. Will the red north bridge also be opening to traffic soon? 3. So to get down to cherry beach from the north, will cars and bikes have to go down old cherry...
