  1. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | 506 Church | 159.25m | 48s | Graywood | Diamond Schmitt

I was going through some old photos the other day and realized this looks like a knockoff of Arquitectonica's Paraiso Bay in Miami:
  2. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

    Some captures from the weekend:
  3. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Snapped some photos of the crane being raised on Saturday 12/10:
  4. NorthshoreCity

    Barrie Toronto | Home2 Suites Barrie | 22.4m | 6s | Innisfil Beach | Mataj

The render people are pulling up like it's the Waldorf Astoria in their Mercedes AMG sedans and Aston Martin DB9's
  5. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

I see some fritted glass being fixed in that last photo 👀
  6. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | 164-168 Isabella Street | ?m | 67s | Elysium | Studio JCI

    Looks like an inverse 111 W 57th 👀
  7. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

Drone video of the tower crane install via Great Gulf's IG:
  8. NorthshoreCity

New Windsor-Essex Acute Care Hospital (Windsor Regional Hospital, 9s, Stantec) (Windsor)

100% agreed - I grew up in Windsor and refused to buy a car as I didn't want to be part of the problem. That said, instead of a 20-30 minute drive to school, I'd be taking a 1.5 hour bus ride and sort of accepted that there was close to zero incentive for others to take transit except for those...
  9. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | Missoni Sky | 188m | 68s | Amexon | Core Architects

Pretty bold of the developer. Imagine having to explain to a buyer that the unit they purchased on the 62nd floor no longer exists because they couldn't get the height increase that they promised?
  10. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | 522 University Avenue | 232.35m | 64s | IA Financial Group | WZMH

I sort of prefer this over a complete demolition. Here in New York they just tear nearly everything down when a property becomes too valuable for the building that occupies it.
  11. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | Q Tower | 197.4m | 59s | Lifetime | Wallman Architects

Of course they try to make it look about 30 meters taller than it actually is
  12. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Casa Emery Village | 165.09m | 55s | Medallion | Arcadis

Aerial view heading into Pearson on Thursday 7/27:
  13. NorthshoreCity

    Vaughan Toronto | CG Tower | 188.97m | 60s | Cortel Group | BDP Quadrangle

Few days late but I got some aerials on Thursday 7/27 on my way in to Pearson:
  14. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | Crosstown Community | 135.02m | 44s | Aspen Ridge | Sweeny &Co

From my flight into Pearson yesterday:
  15. NorthshoreCity

    Mississauga Toronto | M6 at M City | ?m | 57s | Rogers Real Estate | Hariri Pontarini

Nice! Very reminiscent of the Prestige at Pinnacle One Yonge, but curvier. On theme with the BMW branding, it's almost as if Prestige is the 650i to this version as the M6 😅
