  1. NorthshoreCity

    Mississauga Toronto | M3 at M City | 260.29m | 77s | Rogers Real Estate | Arcadis

MCC is going to look amazing in the distance from dt Toronto in the coming years
  2. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | Concord Sky | 299m | 85s | Concord Adex | Kohn Pedersen Fox

True, but a mere 21 meters of thin floor plates/spire above Aura will not be an entirely significant addition to the skyline.
  3. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | Concord Sky | 299m | 85s | Concord Adex | Kohn Pedersen Fox

The worst part is that at this lower height it will blend rather than distract from Aura...
  4. NorthshoreCity

    Vaughan Toronto | CG Tower | 188.97m | 60s | Cortel Group | BDP Quadrangle

Not to add to the off topic discussion but to settle this discussion the Mohegan Sun Sky Tower in Uncasville has under 10,000 residents with no other nearby major cities. This 34 storey, 148.4M skyscraper misses the mark for a CTBUH defined skyscraper by only 1.5 meters, ridiculous scale in the...
  5. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | Sugar Wharf Condominiums (Phase 1) | 231m | 70s | Menkes | a—A

Maybe the real design solution here is to stack the two towers and make one at 450 meters tall ;)
  6. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | Azura Condos | 108.2m | 32s | Capital Developments | Arcadis

What are the chances they actually use curved glazing here?
  7. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | 415 Yonge | 231m | 66s | Marwest | Kirkor Architects

Reminds me of a taller, less bulky version of Tour Majunga in La Défense
  8. NorthshoreCity

    Boston | One Dalton | 226m | 61s | Carpenter & Company | Pei Cobb Freed

Update from two weeks back - it's at around 110M tall right now.
  9. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | The Rosedale on Bloor | 185.92m | 55s | Gupta | Arcadis

If there’s one positive thing to say about this project, it looks like the interiors of the hotel should turn out nice: https://www.studiomunge.com/portfolio/canopy-by-hilton/
  10. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | 2221 Yonge Condos | 192.62m | 58s | Tower Hill | Pei Partnership

This is by far the most low key thread for a skyscraper under construction on Urban Toronto. Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out given the quality firm behind the design.
  11. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

We all just going to ignore the fact that the fountain looks like it’s 15 stories tall given the scale of those people
  12. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | The Pemberton | 215.79m | 68s | Pemberton | a—A

Just saw this on Cresford's instagram page, https://www.instagram.com/p/BZNCLz9hJoo/?taken-by=cresford , grabbed a screen shot:
  13. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | Adagio | 85m | 26s | Menkes | Giannone Petricone

It would be nice if they could take the previous design and replace one of the bland proposed glass boxes in entertainment district.
  14. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | Concord Canada House | 231.97m | 74s | Concord Adex | Arcadis

New rendering via Concord Cityplace's Instagram. There's also a name for this project now; Concord Canada House: https://instagram.com/p/BT7BGkaAzPu/
  15. NorthshoreCity

    Boston | Pierce Boston | 115.21m | 30s | Samuels & Associates | Arquitectonica

Photos from this week (March 15). If it's not yet topped off it is certainly very close.
  16. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | Nobu Residences Toronto | 156.66m | 45s | Madison Group | Teeple Architects

I just visited Nobu's website, on their intro video there is a Toronto location shown on the world map but it doesn't say anything more. It will be good for this development if that's the case, we could expect a higher quality finish.
  17. NorthshoreCity

    Vaughan Toronto | 7Central | 175.4m | 55s | Graywood | Arcadis

    Found a link on Gupta's website; looks like they'll be 48 & 44 storeys in height. http://guptagroup.ca/portfolio/yorkdale-residential-hotel-and-office-project-2/
  18. NorthshoreCity

    Toronto Toronto | 100 Queens Quay at Sugar Wharf | 117.34m | 25s | Menkes | B+H

Don't the Americans use the CTBUH to define official building heights anyways? Their definitions are in metric.
