Interesting how you can see a triangular roof structure at the back... seems like the bulk of the original fire hall was part of the building the whole time!

Some photos from May 2. The tower is sitting on steel beams. Looks like it's made of wood. Some major footings had been dug up which left holes which had to be back filled to enable shoring (I think). There's a real mix of masonry keeping the old building together. It's difficult to tell what can be salvaged.
