I think it would've been a brave and internationally unique building if built. People in Toronto are crazy for a simple 3D "TORONTO". Imagine how popular something like that would be in our city.

All this spandrel mess in the city is the governments fault.. Developers are going to do what they do is supply units onto the market to meet what the demand is asking. If the demand is asking for cheap units.. it's on the city planning who should be doing what they do and plan the city better...

You don't have to look any further than Toronto for this. Few years back a string of stabbings and other violence at Kennedy, and I believe Warden station led to the TTC doing this at a few station right after school day ends.
