I always thought that this property would be eventually combined with 490 Adelaide and something up to 17 storeys would be built here (similar to Minto’s 123 Portland next to it). A 2-storey building seems like such a waste, a 5- or 6-storey commercial building would work nicely here.

The yellow painted concrete undersides is looking less like wood and more like the colour of the Puente de Luz bridge which is not very flattering. It’s so pale that I’d not really adding any colour, warmth or interest to the exterior, which is desperately needed here.

I walk by here everyday. On top of that, there are occasional vomit puddles over the weekend. It’s often littered with empty cans, bottles, and food wrappers, and there is often someone smoking a joint there stinking up the area. Otherwise it’s a nice walkway. People suck.
