Which tower do you hope moves forward next???

Without knowing any backstory on the towers and going based off appearance alone, I’m going to say 101st Tower. I’m a sucker for large skyscrapers and it’s aesthetically pleasing.

Which tower do you hope moves forward next???

Being on the younger side (I was Born in ‘98), hearing about The Edmontonian on the news when I was little was where my love for Skyscrapers developed so I would love to see it built. Even though I know it’s never going to happen.

EllisDon to Lead Prairie Link High-Speed Rail Partners - Edm-RD-Cal

I know I'm getting way tooo ahead of myself here but once the line is completed, would a high speed rail extension to Fort McMurray and Lethbridge be the next logical steps?

Times Square at Century Park | ?m | 6s | ProCura Real Estate | Pelli Clarke Pelli

I love it. I the way it’s designed reminds me of Barcelona's square street blocks.

End of Steel highrises | Scott Hughes

Add in some mixed-use commercial at the bottom and I love it.

Greatest dodged bullet of a project

I like the look of the tower itself but everything else about the project is a disaster.

    Edmonton | The Quarters Hotel and Residences | 280.1m | 80s | Alldritt Land | KENNEDY

Even though it's being built in Edmonton, Badlands Motorsports Resort will provide that when it's built-in Rosebud which will provide something similar to the province. It still would have been nice to see Edmonton have something similar.

    Capital Line LRT

I rode on the Capital line last Thursday with my girlfriend and I'm going to do it again tomorrow for K Days. My only complaints that I had were they needed to clean up Churchill station. The smell of urine was horrendous and full-time security should be hired. Even with me (I'm a bigger guy...

    Calgary Regional Rail Transit

When the Calgary to Banff rail project is complete, is it going to have a stop in Canmore? Also when it’s complete would a line extension from Calgary to Drumheller make sense given they’re the same distance and provide similar tourism?

Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

Hopefully it’s open for Folk Festival.

    Capital Line LRT

Once the Capital Line South extension is completed, will an extension of Capital Line North to Fort Saskatchewan be the next logical extension?

    Edmonton | Metro Line LRT | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

That would be a dream scenario. They've been planning for an LRT line to St. Albert for years. However, nothing concrete has been laid out yet.

    High Level Bridge

Given the options currently available, keeping this is the safest one. It would have been terrible for the city and the history of the city if High-Level Bridge was torn down. When the city is truly ready to commit to a replacement, transition High-Level Bridge into a cycling/pedestrian bridge...

    Edmonton's former streetcar system.

Thank you for sharing. I am a huge RM Transit fan and missed that video. Very informative as always.

    Edmonton's former streetcar system.

Indeed that ship has, however, that's not necessarily a good thing. Streetcars would make a great transit alternative in areas where the LRT isn't applicable to build.

    Edmonton's former streetcar system.

I was looking at this old Edmonton streetcar map from 1944, and it made me wish they were still around and used today. In fact, over 150 cities use streetcars/trams today. Edmonton should/could be one of them.
