Dam, if only @JasL was a few more floors higher. I imagine floors 40+ will have stunning views facing South.

    Toronto Toronto | Time and Space Condos | 101.8m | 29s | Pemberton | Wallman Architects

From what I've observed, anyone who thinks this building is a positive addition, is a buyer/investor who can't back up why.

That makes sense, thanks for pointing that out. In theory, that would work in many cases, but IMO, the design for both blocks is very busy and not appealing to begin with. They'd been better off to just carry through one design to at least create some kind of rhythm or a consistent pattern...

I really wish they at least matched the cladding for the two sections fronting Esplanade. IMO, it really draws more attention to the cheap materials and lack of any design aesthetic.

    Toronto Toronto | T3 Bayside | 42m | 10s | Hines | 3XN

This is one of the best office projects going up right now. It's going to be so exciting seeing the timber getting installed.

    Toronto Toronto | Nobu Residences Toronto | 156.66m | 45s | Madison Group | Teeple Architects

I keep hoping this will get better, but it just keeps getting worse. At this rate, Canada House has more potential. Who knew you could screw up curtain wall? lol

    Toronto Toronto | Pinnacle Lakeside (Phase 1) | 174.86m | 54s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Construction was active on this site just a few days ago. Not buzzing, but about a dozen workers moving about. Maybe just to maintain the site?

So excited for this project. This area is really shaping up to be a Scandinavian paradise.

Mods, should we remove 3XN from the thread title?

Nope! I just call it for what it is. This thread isn't just for investors or home owners.

    Toronto Toronto | Time and Space Condos | 101.8m | 29s | Pemberton | Wallman Architects

What does this have to do with urban planning, development or architecture? I think you missed the brief when you started to engage in this thread and your responses are clearly bias and now borderline trolling. And if you really want to go there, I can give you a million reasons why this...

They are bias buyers trying desperately to protect and defend their investment.

It won't matter what's above this spandrel mess in my eyes.
  14. W

    Toronto Toronto | T3 Bayside | 42m | 10s | Hines | 3XN

Hines isn't know for their value engineering. And this wasn't either the case with 3XN's first North American building directly south of here.

    Toronto Toronto | 1 Yorkville | 183.18m | 58s | Bazis | Rosario Varacalli

Yorkville condo's have really gone downhill. I was hoping for a slicker installation.

    Toronto Toronto | Time and Space Condos | 101.8m | 29s | Pemberton | Wallman Architects

The only good part of the building is the fact that it's on a chemical wasteland and I can sleep easy knowing I don't live there.

    Toronto Toronto | The Well | 174.03m | 46s | RioCan | Hariri Pontarini

Correct. The two residential buildings to the east are NOT Tridel. Really shows all the fake news on this site. They are only responsible for the far West low-rise on front, yet to apply any cladding yet.

    Toronto Toronto | Pier 27 Phase 3 | 149.95m | 45s | Cityzen | a—A

I don't mind the height here. I imagine this will likely get approved 5 floors shorter.
