Now that the exterior is nearly completed, I must say this is a massive improvement from when this block was Sears. Say what you want about the build and the quality, but this portion of Yonge looks so much more animated now. Can't wait to see the billboards light up.

Coming from someone who has lived both in NYC and Toronto, this is far from the truth. I love Toronto because it's simply more of a liveable city. A more residential feel, more relaxed and less rushed, higher quality local businesses within the downtown core (most of Manhattan is gentrified 10x...

Based on the renderings, it looks like there is still a "third" retailer (the brown two-storey storefront). The floor plans and announced square footage still show Uniqlo taking the interior space to the west. I'm assuming Uniqlo really pushed for some street presence in negotiations... and...

Some more shots from this morning. I don't think it's too small of an entrance. Once the EBar is up and running, it won't look as limited in terms of entryway. Then again, most Nordstrom's I've been to tend to have more narrow entrances from the mall. Not sure the reasoning why.
