    Also, I'm quite sure that those are all double-paned windows, which also will help to insulate the building year round - winter, fall, spring & summer, helping to save energy costs.

    I think some of that also came from the exposed steel frame where the construction elevator shaft was. I think once the façade is completed and the heating system turned on, the problem with the ice will go away.

    Here's a pic of the spire lit up near sundown! The exterior elevator shaft is being dismantled now, and the rest of the façade in that corner is being installed. Pretty soon, the whole building will be completely glass enclosed and protected from the weather, allowing the HVAC to be activated...

    These two taller office towers look almost reminiscent of the former Twin Towers of the World Trade Center! The shorter low-rise building is planned to be built over the railroad trench just outside of Penn Station. A shorter tower (arrow) is also planned for the site. ;)
