Will likely be an insurance claim (I assume you're referring to the car v LRT shelter at what looked like Victoria Park/Eglinton)

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

There were three of four weeks in July 2023 where during the evening rush hour, the bridge and pathway below were closed due to threatened suicides. There are not infrequently flowers attached to the bridge, or memorials below. I really do hope the city can implement the suicide barriers here...

Post your pictures of Toronto here!

The Toronto Police Mounted unit is down near the CNE on Manitoba street. This is near the North Toronto Wastewater Treatment Plant. I'm not sure, but the open cube is perhaps related to the sewage separation project? Nearby construction is (I think) related to the north path of the Don Valley...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

It's definitely a work in progress. The west side track is also signed as "Bike lane closed" at the north end. I'm not quite sure what they are waiting for. Mind you, it's not currently possible to safely cross (by foot or bike) to go on Donlands at the south end of the bridge

Builder: these plans look do-able. Would the two most important things be on spec and on time? ML: actually, most import things are tall narrow canopies, and a T in a circle on every station

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

A couple of photos from this afternoon: South end of the new cycle track, with crash barrier And a view of the track. Curiously, the right side is painted as a pedestrian lane. I'm not sure why, as that's a nice wide sidewalk right beside it!

Toronto Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport | ?m | ?s | Ports Toronto | Arup

Yes, they are actual planes now, so no one has to try to make a case based only on a design (at least for these planes!). Quality of noise is also important, and what frequency they are loud at, and what directions they sound loudest. Anyway, I think extending runways to accommodate new planes...

Concrete barriers have been installed for the NB cycling track on the Leaside bridge. Photos from a moving bus

Toronto Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport | ?m | ?s | Ports Toronto | Arup

If the airport stays longer term, they should use noise as the criterion for planes that can use the airport provided there is adequate runway length). Newer jets (A220, new versions of Embraer) are apparently quieter than the Q400s that are currently used by Porter and AC Jazz at BB.

    Toronto Toronto | Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Until this past week, I believe archers could enter the archery range from the south (i.e. right of the photo). They (Metrolinx/Ontario Hydro) clear cut that part (3:00-4:30 radian, rightish) on Monday. Incidentally, that's where a lot of deer would feed and there's been loud grumbling/anger on...

    Toronto Toronto | Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Graffiti Alley off Queen W is generally good. I like most of the graffiti on the Leaside bridge pillars in the Don Valley. I don't like tagging. It does work in some places, but generally (to me) is visual noise.

The building will be open for tours for hospital employees later this month. I'll try to take some photos.

Toronto Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport | ?m | ?s | Ports Toronto | Arup

Toronto is down to two airports: Pearson and Billy Bishop. The next closest are Oshawa, Brampton-Caledon, Burlington Executive, and Hamilton. In my opinion, those are not sufficient to serve general aviation needs for a city of Toronto's size. Ornge uses BB/TCCA as a base, as well. For these...

    Toronto Toronto | Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

I don't mind some of it (especially the stuff I consider artistic), but there's definitely a lot of crappy bubble letter tags now (e.g. on a couple of nearby storefronts, and covering a local commissioned "wing" art). E.g. (credit Stephanie Rentel on FB: Danforth - EastYork Woodbine Community)...
