It's unfortunate that they didn't apply the finer scale of the tower massing to the podium (where it actually matters). I also find the windows and coloured paneling very cheap-looking... this is closer to 300 Front quality than 60 Richmond quality.

Thoughts on this 2 bed/2bath floorplan?

where is this? I don't see kitchens this big in any downtown condo floorplan under $600k.

Picasso (Goldman Group & Monarch Group) - Real Estate -

Ack, terrible floorplans, and overpriced. S-shaped rooms in 500sf one-bedrooms are unacceptable!

Axiom Richmond 3 Floor Plan- thoughts?

Normally I hate diagonal walls, but this is what I'd do to clean up that mess of an entry labyrinth: I imagine either a sliding paneled wall system in dark grey or red, or whatever, to highlight the diagonal feature, rather than drywall and regular doors for bathroom/laundry

Looking for 600+sf 1 bedrooms downtown for ~$350k

Ideally between Bathurst and Sherbourne. If near the bloor subway, anywhere between bloor west village and pape is ok. Not north of Davenport. Gym only (not paying for pool maintenance) South-facing corner unit with balcony is a must. Prefer deep/usable balconies rather than long/narrow...

    501 Yonge St Condos

^^Not a bad layout if sliding frosted glass walls can be added to separate the bed from the kitchen (and its cooking vapors). I'm allergic to studio plans that rely on convertible furniture/murphy beds.

    Thoughts on this 2+1 floorplan?

I hate long squiggly corridors. At least make it straight and usable for something like a gallery. It only makes sense to go out of the way to put the living room in the corner if it's full glazing, but since it's not, here's how I'd do it: or

Hamilton: 2nd Hottest Real Estate Market in Canada

That's very exciting indeed. People have been telling me to forget buying a condo in Toronto, and just buy a house near a Hamilton GO station instead.

Nah it looks terrible. Can't think of a taller building in the world that was done this cheaply.

Casa 2 Condos (Cresford) - Real Estate -

It's insane. I'm currently living in a bachelor in a Greenrock highrise a few blocks south... no granite countertops, but I have 350sf, 18 feet of window, and a large balcony looking south into a large fountain and park with trees, with no shadowing over my unit even during winter (and none of...

What are your thoughts on this floorplan and how would you decorate it?

^^The kitchen pic's from One Bloor; I posted that as a suggestion. My comment about the diagonal walls is for the OP's plan... sry for the confusion

Best location and time to buy?

I'm hoping to buy my first condo (or loft) between 2015 and 2017, hopefully at the bottom of a condo market crash ;) I'm ideally looking for something I can finance within 15 years, so my budget is roughly $350k. As a junior architect, I am more willing to pay for good design and good...

Sounds like a non-starter in terms of the proforma lol. Downtown maybe, but not Yonge/Eg

Cannot Create New Threads -WHY ?

I have 20 posts, but still can't create threads... edit... it takes 21 posts lol.

What are your thoughts on this floorplan and how would you decorate it?

Is this pre-construction? Are you able to square off the diagonal walls? They make my eyes bleed.

    Toronto Toronto | eCondos | 195.67m | 58s | Bazis | Rosario Varacalli

how did they expect to do the second tower with that skinny footprint in the first place? It's barely 10m thick. Or was the sexy massing meant to help sell the first tower? Also, it says under "posting permissions" that I can't create threads... how come?

One Bloor East Condos (Great Gulf Homes) - Real Estate -

I wouldn't want 10 seats worth of dining space in such a cramped apartment, the big island would be plenty enough. Also, the issues with the corner unit is mostly to do with bad planning. Here's how I would do it: Or with larger bedrooms:

Casa 2 Condos (Cresford) - Real Estate -

The X2 and Casa 2's and 3's must be making a killing... extremely high FSRs, recycling the same design, yet still charging $700+psf.

One Bloor East Condos (Great Gulf Homes) - Real Estate -

Would you buy this 899sf 2br+den with 20 feet of windows and a windowless second bedroom: (http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt61/HiRiser/1BE%20floorplans/12.jpg), for $750k... ...knowing that there's a 815sf 2br corner unit with 55 feet of windows...

Harbour Plaza Residences (Menkes) - Real Estate -

i'll never buy here because of the location, but 2 floorplans seem to stand out The unit with zero wasted corridor space http://www.harbour-plaza-toronto.ca/surf-a/ The <500sf corner unit http://www.harbour-plaza-toronto.ca/peir-a/ I never get why developers don't try to give the...
