A third crane (second on the eastern side of the site) is now up. Construction Cam ( Link ) stills show it being assembled yesterday.

I think Thirty Six Zorra beat this to the punch - but definitely looks to be the start of a pattern.

It's finished now. They are just clearing up the rubble and debris.

As this area densifies, it desperately needs better transit. While it may eventually be served by a future western portion (extension) of the Ontario Line, that is probably 2 decades or more away. Perhaps a dedicated street car right-of-way on Queensway connecting eastward from Kipling to the...

Actually, seeing this one in person over Christmas I think I would say this is even worse than "absolute flaming hot garbage and standard for Marlin Spring". It makes some of their other projects look positively inspired.

Crane went up for the eastern portion of the site today.

Sales team sent out an email blast this morning advising that an event held on site this Saturday "is your last chance to visit the Sales Centre before demolition". Looks like this one is getting started soon.

I'm fairly certain this one is now topping out.

Demolition of the existing building has begun. It appears that interior elements are being removed first, as the rear of the building (parking lot area) is littered with piled debris. Sidewalk protection for the sidewalk along the north side of Queensway has also started to be put in place.

The development app for this has disappeared...

This seems a little over-dense for the area, although a good spot for new development. It would tie the density along Queensway to that going up around Mimico.

This project seems to be progressing at a snails pace, especially when compared to Thirty Six Zorra directly behind it.

The intensification in this area is quite staggering, especially when compared to 10 years or so ago. The property directly across Chartwell Road is being sold off for redevelopment. Link It seem to theorize a six floor 47 unit condo with retail at grade.

They are making quick work here. The building to the extreme west end of the site (former Scotiabank branch) is already 50% demolished.

Both the east and west portions of the site have been fenced off with construction fencing. Two large backhoes and some other equipment are on site for demolition.

Walked by the site this afternoon. The final of the four freestanding buildings to be demolished, which was the Milestones restaurant to the East side of the site, has now closed. Fixtures were also being removed and loaded into a truck.
