Wow. I really thought this would be one of the trendsetters for mid-rise along the avenues for this city. I was hoping it would set a good precedent of a building that increased density where needed, added some style to the streetscape, but didn't get the neighbourhood residents too riled up...

Dear God that shorter, all greyish-white portion with the off-setting balconies looks like a prison. The top of the building looks like they didn't even incorporate it into the design. By the looks of it they were designing a rectangle from the bottom up...and then abruptly stopped.

So true. That was a great building, I hope the one at St. Thomas & Sultan never goes. Remembering my U of T days (not all that long ago, graduated in 2009)...this little area looks quite different.
