    I agree, and there should be clauses in place if it is a the same contract that says if one extension is ready before the other, it can open. If for some reason the western extension completes earlier than the eastern, it shouldn't need to wait for the eastern to be completed to open both at once.

    At the very least there should be concrete barriers on the opposite side of the sidewalk. The small curb and single thin post do no provide enough protection. There should be knee or chest high barriers like on YRT.
