It’s funny, BlogTO article hit and there seemed to be a lot of negativity about the project on X. Here, I think folks are just excited to see renderings. I’d say towers were going to ruin the waterfront, but folks stopped caring about that years ago, so let’s just build it already.

That’s my think in the last ten years. Why bother demolishing the Gardiner, we’re just walling it in place between huge towers. All that talk about how it was “cutting the city off from the waterfront” turned out to be BS. 300sq ft investment units in 80 storey towers were going to cut the...

This was interesting… apparently the name isn’t usable in Canada Post or Revenue service computers. So they’re suggesting another name for those purposes, which kinda begs the question…

Funny how there’s no outcry for all the businesses Ford killed with his decisions. Go figure. Anyhow. I saw the saucy Milliner move into the abandoned gallery space on the west side. It did make me think the other day. How much of this place is money laundering? No really. I pass through...

The sediment area of the Don seen in the early Gardiner images doesn’t appear to be in the works, I mean look at that huge bay we’ve got. I would have thought they’d have gotten that done by now as part of the flood mitigation. Is it on hold while they get the lakeshore bridge done, or did it...

Yeah, I think I only caught on when it was being used against progressives by alt-right folk. But in the last couple years, after watching so called “progressive” people/biz suddenly get cover and back away from progressive causes- I’m like, nah- no more “feel good” patronizing shite. Money. Do...

So help me god if they uncover that crane and it’s not covered in glitter and rhinestones.

I’m all for no kings, but how bout we turn this into a fort? Nobody builds forts anymore. This is fort vibes

Watching Cherry & Lake Shore go mad this weekend, but wondering- how many streets will we get pouring onto Lake Shore in the future? That’s a wide expanse between Cherry & Parliament, then there’s the idea that Queens Quay is going to slice across the silo lands and possibly meet up with Lake...

    East Bayfront

Was it WT behind the piers that were in the rendering of Pier 27? Or was that the developer making it look like they had the ability to build lake docking infrastructure?

Sooo, is this ever happening? Do we need a gofundme for the wavedeck? Have we value engineered it to a sticker on some plywood yet?

It’s hard enough to keep a cafe operational in downtown Toronto, if this just isn’t the dealership lunchroom by opening day…

Speak and ye shall…wait, the cut and cover starts over at Corktown Commons? Alright. This meeting should be interesting.

Cycling by and noticed there was an accessible little path to the east of the limoncello bridge, so I checked it out. So there’s steps down and it just kinda stops beside the bridge. But you do get a little closer on what’s going on over there.
