Rental construction starts in Toronto are the lowest in 9 quarters. All of Toronto only has the equivalent of a small town in rentals being built, a fraction of what is needed. Any large-scale rental project that has weathered the interest rate storm and made it to construction in this climate...

This project was previously storage lockers (private property). There is $2.7M of affordable housing, an additional $7.3M of community benefits through Section 37, a new park, a new POPs and so on. Where are you getting your information?

@Northern Light where did you find the plans with the flight path? The Architectural Plans for ZBA dated Aug. 18th dont show this and there's no updated or submitted Aviation Report.

The owners (Colonia Treuhand) take a very long term approach to their holdings. They own a ton of sites in Downtown East and rarely sell or develop.

Does anyone have any recent photos of the laneways and public realm? If anyone is in the area I would love to see the progress. They were proposing a little dog relief area in one of the lanes, I'm really interested to see how it turned out!
