Another oversight or design flaw with benches is that they didn't put anti-skateboarding bumbs every 1/2 meter or so.

I like the bench and wall, but couldn't they've have built the wall infront of the metered utilities mess hiding it from street view?

I still think it looks dull and sterile inspite of all the greenery.

So when the contract with Solid Waste Management is up, refuse to give them a new contract unless they are willing to pick up from the trash bins we want. What choice would they have if they wanted the contract. Play hardball. I'm not sure why this wasn't in the initial contract.

I also walked by the square yesterday around 6pm, showing a friend from Miami our waterfront. I pointed out to him that this was Canada Square, just completed last year, and at that very moment he yawned. Coincidence....? I think not.
