Surely something more like this could be devised with this new development being planned around the road.

I was talking about the indoor bike parking provided for residents, if you scroll up, it is highlighted in blue on the ground level floor plan. But I agree, it is nice when delivery drivers have a space for their bikes. On the same ground level floor plan, just outside the lobby entrance, there...

This looks like a miserable place to live, majority of units would get direct sunlight for less than an hour a day; if they removed Tower D and Tower K it would be much improved. If you live in Toronto's Entertainment District with very little sunlight, at least you have the amenities of the...

It is more convenient for cyclists to have the bike parking at street level but it would free up a lot of space if it was moved to P1 and then the ground level could be re-worked. Has there ever been an already built condo that agreed to share it's laneway?

    Go downvote this terrible video

It is a little painful to look back at how beautiful the original design for this was, also the scale. If it were proposed today... it probably would have been approved.

They say the beloved tree on Church St. has to be removed for construction in the arborist report. And unfortunately there are no sidewalk trees in the landscaping plan for some reason. Also the Crews & Tangos space will be re-split into two separate commercial spaces again, as it was...

Some kind of very leafy greenery going in on the terrace, it comes in a roll. In the back left you can see grasses have been planted in the planters that continue around to the other side.

Love restoring the internal river that was filled in to make the airport, but hate keeping the airport runway and buildings.

Same, I would rather they be saved than the other building. They painted it black so of course it no longer has heritage value and cant be saved from the paint lol

I wish the middle block was a little thinner (extending less South), creating a larger park space, and also that the block extended all the way to Portland so there could be more tower separation.

It starting to look less cheap with the black accents, hopefully the curved balcony glass will elevate it.

There should be a gap, and then an exact replica for a few floors in a different colour, as the tower climbs higher it should slowly morph and fade away into the skyline.

The metallic copper colour is atrocious.

    Toronto Toronto | 5 Huntley | 209.2m | 63s | EHLP | Turner Fleischer

This might be the craziest proposal of the year thus far. If you're gonna build anything here, you would think it would look like what they did on the lot immediately north of this.

    Toronto Toronto | 2 Queen West | 34.44m | 7s | Cadillac Fairview | Zeidler

It's wild that the residential tower proposal rejected here would have definitely been approved today, and now the useless offices here will likely be demolished in a few years to build a residential tower.

That ground floor plan is such a mess, desperately in need of an interior designer. Also… 5 elevators. Come on.

Would make a great gift wrap pattern or a wallpaper for the washroom of a bubble tea shop. Luxury development… not so much.

What is with the hideous weird smiling rainbow flowers? Using the word “art” very liberally here.
