Wow this is terrible news. Out of all restaurants in the world we get stuck with Boston Pizza. Wow! Horrible Horrible news.

Behind the hoarding is going to be a supervisors control room apparently. It was supposed to be retail but this never happened. I doubt it has anything to do with a Poyntz entrance.

Menkes is currently renovating their sales centre in the Ultima building on Yonge between NYC and Sheppard. So there seems to be something going on.

Apparently Nawab has been closed down, so only the Sushi restaurant left I believe. Hopefully that's a good sign

Anyone hear anything new about this project? It's been quite a while since anything has happened. I see that it was accepted by Toronto council back in March of 2015.

The Golden Lion Inn at the south west corner of Yonge and Sheppard. The Lion is in the Canadiana section of the North York Central Library(6th floor)

Great news about the LCBO, its about time. The LCBO at NYC is terrible and the closest decent LC is at Bayview Village. And more noodles and bubble tea is exactly what this neighbourhood needs... I was hoping for the Starbucks but who knows if that's going to still happen. What this area...

Anyone know what happened with the proposed 3 Brewers pub? they put signage up in the summer saying it was gonna open in the winter. Recently they took down the signs in the windows.

Gross... This building had such potential. I doubt any of these shoe box sized stores will stay open for more then a few months. The LCBO and Grocery store should both do well but this mall is gonna really suck in my opinion. I hope Im wrong but I highly doubt it.

The light feature is working, and from my view it looks rather terrible but maybe from the street it looks better. Anyone have any idea what part of the retail space is the 3 Brewers?

They took down most of the scaffolding today and revealed what I assume is the final product on the arches. Looks OK but definitely not nearly as big of a impact as the renderings.

This is great news for the area. The sushi restaurant and Nawab are not that bad but those buildings have seen better days. I'm not a huge fan of franchise restaurants but I think Keg is for sure one of the better ones. Anything is better then Baton rouge. What a waste of space that place...

I saw today they were installing dynamite to the side of the building, so looks like there will be a opening. ;)

Does anyone have any idea what happened at the Emerald Park construction site yesterday afternoon? (May 14th). Looked like all workers were sent outside, Beecroft and part of Yonge street were closed off, About 5 or more fire trucks and lots of Police were around. Never heard what it was...

Yes this will be just north of Gibson Square. They have started to work on the closed down furniture store I'm assuming to build the sales center. The rest of the resturants in this block are still open for now. (Asian Legends, Bubble tea, etc.)

The crane on the south/west tower looks as tho it has mostly been taken down.

I agree the parking lot really has to go. At least bring back the old PJ pet store that was there. How many more floors on the west tower before its done?
